August – A look ahead…

It’s Leo season! We started the month off strong with a full moon on August 1st which also happened to be a supermoon, bringing that big, beautiful ball in the sky just a little closer for us to admire. On August 16^th we’ll have a new moon in the fiery sign of Leo, giving you some much needed momentum to start any of those mid-summer projects you’ve been putting off. New moons are great for beginnings, and that is the time you will want to jot down some short-term goals for yourself – nothing crazy, just a brief list of things you may want to accomplish over the next 30 days to take you through to the next new moon. On August 27^th the warrior planet Mars enters the polite and accommodating sign of Libra, making us all a little more agreeable for the time, which brings us to the end of the month, where we will close out with yet another full Moon in the gentle sign of Pisces. This will also be a supermoon, and because it’s the 2^nd one this month, it will be a blue moon as well. With all this lunar activity it may be challenging to keep your emotions in check, but if you can tap into the Leo energy that this month offers, you’ll finish confident and more optimistic than ever.
